My Nailpolish Wishlist 2013

Hey Guys!
I'm finally back after a GIANT blogging break. No excuse really; been a little busy and quite lazy. Well at least I'm honest.
I hope you guys are all well. I need to thank you for your excellent viewing of my little blog. I left to go on a little break with about 210 page views and have returned with over 1000! ♥♥♥

I'm going to start off with a few pictures of my recently released nail colours. I don't own any of these pictures, but I'll show you anyway and hope you don't mind ☺

Okay, I have joined the liquid sand nail polish craze! My favourite from the OPI collection is "The Impossible" because it's pretty subtle, yet still gorgeous!

I was really excited for the Oz collection, but in all honesty, it's not the best. However I really love the nude-pink shade "I Theodora You" and the gold glitter "When Monkeys Fly".

I think that this collection is stunning! If Butter London wasn't so pricey, I would definitely buy a few. So far I like "Champers" , "Sunbaker" and "Marbs" the best,  even though they are all nice.

I'm not 100% sure what collection this is from but I am totally in love. All three of these colours are perfect, even if they are too summery for Australia's winter. Chanel always produces great nail products and they have the cutest packaging! These three are for sure my top 3 wanted!!!! ♥

Haul: Orly And Revlon

Hello everyone,
Just here to let you guys know I'm back! I was meant to post recently, but I was really busy with my birthday and those of others, also I have been flooded with homework, all due this week and the next.
I knew I would be too busy to give you guys any posts during that time, so I actually tried to schedule a couple of post to automatically upload themselves. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and instead of scheduling to upload them, I just saved them to my drafts.
I won't get them up now, because I am talking about events that have passed in them. I will rewrite them and you can expect them really soon.
Anywho, today I have a really mini haul to show you guys of a couple of polishes I have picked up this week. Orly's Pretty Please and Revlon's Ruby Ribbon.

On the left is Revlon's Ruby Ribbon and on the right is Orly's Pretty please.
Ruby Ribbon is a Revlon Matte Suede. It is a deep red, almost brown colour, I don't really like it, I purchased it to do my mum's nails. I purchased it at RedDot for about $3.
Pretty Please is an ordinary Orly nail polish. It has the easy grip lid, isn't limited edition and like I find all of my Orly polishes, really sheer. It makes up for it though, once you layer it, it becomes a super pretty bubble-gum pink with some subtle shimmer. I bought this at Priceline. They ripped me off and charged me $5 when it was $3, I went back and asked them to pay me the difference, and reluctantly they did.

That's it from me today guys, Tanks for reading and don't forget to comment and subscribe!

NOTD #4

Hello everyone,
I'm taking advantage of the beautiful sunny weather today and painting my nails in brights (kind of).
Even though I will have to take it off for school tomorrow, there just hasn't been many sunny days this winter. Even though some people might classify BYS' Rebel Red, as more of a vampy colour. Honestly, I think that it turns out relatively bright and that's good enough for a sunny day!

I did not take this photo myself, as I really haven't had the time with all the homework I am doing.
I got it from Pretty Purple Polish as you can see from the tag across the photo.
This colour was $2 at a 2 dollar shop, but you can pick it up in Target, Kmart and Gloss, across Australia. A dupe to this, although I haven't tried it is, OPI's Red My Fortune Cookie.

My Design: Cadbury Chocolate Inspired Nails

Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all having a great day.
In my last post I showed you guys the 'Galaxy Nails' I had created. A few people said they really liked that nail design, so I thought I would do another one.
Today however, I wasn't inspired by the night sky, it was the Cadbury Chocolate packaging!
I thought that the purple box, with gold writing looked really elegant with the cursive cadbury font.

I am aware I didn't do the best job at the gold swirls, but I didn't have a gold striper, so I had to make do. The base is simply a matte purple colour and the swirls are just a shimmery gold.
I used a mini Models Prefer gold and BYS' Matte Purple.

Thank you so much for reading,
Don't forget to subscribe and comment, it does mean a lot to me. Let me know what you think of this design.

My Design: Galaxy Nails

Hello everyone,
I am sorry that I have taken 2 longer than usual gaps inbetween my posts. I have been using the time I normally write my posts in to create new designs or get perfect shots of nail polish I will be using in upcoming posts.
Today I will be sharing with you a nail design I created a few days back. I knew the look I was going for, I wanted it to look like space. I did a number of different galaxy designs until I found the one I like best.
I layered 3 nail polishes for the below look.

I did a few silver splotches on my nail, not minding how messy it was. Then I painted a balck over it, making sure to go sheer were the silver is. Then I added some silver/holo glitter in a black base and layered it up until I liked it. What do you guys think of it?

These are the 3 colours I used. The silver is a Rubi Shoes polish, no name but it's silver. The black is Ulta3's Black Satin, just an ordinary black. Lastly, the glitter in a black base, is BYS' Down The Rabbit Hole, which is from their Alice In Wonderland collection.

Please let me know what you guys thought of this design. Do you want me to do more My Designs like this? It was actually really fun to create!

Thank you guys for reading,
Once again I am sorry for the gap inbetween posts.
Take care,

Haul: Overseas

Hello eveyone,
I am really sorry I failed to post much in the later days of my trip to Asia. I felt like my posts were less enjoyable because I couldn't upload pictures, I had to have links to them. I knew not many people would actually follow the links and it would potentially steer readers away.
Anywho, today I will be showing you a haul of the nail products I purchased overseas. There wasn't any big named brands (OPI, China Glaze, Essie) that I found a colour I actually liked. That's why most people have never heard of these brands before.
I haven't swatched these colours yet and my camera is still not fixed, so again I am using my sister's, which isn't so good and had extremly low battery (which is why there is only one picture).

From left to right: Fuso Nail Enamel no.85, Rainbow no.62, Rainbow no.81, Lakme Color Crash no-name, Rainbow no.34 and Fuso Nail Enamel no.70.
I honestly don't know why I laid the polishes out so jumbled up and no by brands.

Fuso Nail Enamel no.85:
This colour is a metallic purple/pink. I think it has some microglitter in it, but I can't be sure completely. I got it from Mustafa Centre for s$3.50. I am giving this to my friend.

Rainbow no.62:
This colour is again a metallic, it also looks like it's made up of purple microglitter. In the sun it looks like a lilac, however in shade it appears a few shades darker. I bought this for s$2 in I12 Katong. I am also giving this polish away.

Rainbow no.81:
This polish is a light strawberry pink with silver and some translucent glitter. I can imagine this colour being quite sheer, unless you layer it. This does remind me of a colur in my collection by Lina Nail Lacquer, so I decided to give it to another friend. I also bought this for s$2 in I12 Katong.

Lakme Colour Crash:
This is just a simple dark blue. I would actually say it kind of looks like OPI's Dating A Royal, not an exact dupe, but in the bottle they look similar. I think the flash in the above photo made it appear lighter than in person. By looking at it, I think it would have a cream finish but I'm not entirely sure yet. I bought this for s$3.80 from Mustafa Centre.

Rainbow no.34:
This is probably my favourite colour of them all! Though now more than one person has said it reminds them of grandmas. What do you guys think? It is a duochrome that turn from an off white to a light green. This one definately has silver microglitter and also some medium hex glitter, that is silver aswell. I swatched it on one finger, just to see how it turned out and although it's sheer, it is really unique and pretty. I bought this for s$2 in I12 Katong.

Fuso Nail Enamel no.70:
This colour is very similar to many I have come across before. The closest I can think of is China Glaze's Snow Globe, only the base isn't quite as white the CG colour. The base is clear, with maybe the slightest yellow tint to it. The glitters are different sizes and translucent too. I once again, am giving this to my friend. I bought this at Mustafa Centre for s$3.50.

I'm not completely sure if I mentioned, this currency is all in the Singapore Dollar.

Thank you for reading,
I hope you enjoyed these colours as much as I have.

NOTD #3, From The Nail Salon

Hello once again guys,
I hope you are all having a great day. I thought that today I would go to a salon and get my nails done, partly because if I didn't I wouldn't have a post for today, and I also wanted to see the OPI Germany Collection in the flesh. I actually wasn't too impressed with the Germany Collection, they were all lacking a certain something I was looking for. There was one colour in the OPI Holland Collection that I was instantly sure I wanted; Red Lights Ahead... Where?

Here is my new manicure. I did not take this photo myself. I got it from Spikethepunchblog .
Anywho, this colour is a coral-red colour. Sometimes it look more orange than red, but most of the time it just looks plain red.

Thank you for reading, peaase subscribe if you like my posts.
