My Nailpolish Wishlist 2013

Hey Guys!
I'm finally back after a GIANT blogging break. No excuse really; been a little busy and quite lazy. Well at least I'm honest.
I hope you guys are all well. I need to thank you for your excellent viewing of my little blog. I left to go on a little break with about 210 page views and have returned with over 1000! ♥♥♥

I'm going to start off with a few pictures of my recently released nail colours. I don't own any of these pictures, but I'll show you anyway and hope you don't mind ☺




Okay, I have joined the liquid sand nail polish craze! My favourite from the OPI collection is "The Impossible" because it's pretty subtle, yet still gorgeous!





I was really excited for the Oz collection, but in all honesty, it's not the best. However I really love the nude-pink shade "I Theodora You" and the gold glitter "When Monkeys Fly".






I think that this collection is stunning! If Butter London wasn't so pricey, I would definitely buy a few. So far I like "Champers" , "Sunbaker" and "Marbs" the best,  even though they are all nice.



I'm not 100% sure what collection this is from but I am totally in love. All three of these colours are perfect, even if they are too summery for Australia's winter. Chanel always produces great nail products and they have the cutest packaging! These three are for sure my top 3 wanted!!!! ♥

Review: Ulta3 Mojito

Hello again guys,
Today I am doing a review on Ulta3's nail colour Mojito. To start off yes, I have re-used this picture from one of my previous posts, as I honestly don't have the time to go a re-photograph it. I bought this polish at BigW for $2.
First of all the name Mojito, when I bought this nail polish I had sort of guessed that a mojito was a type of drink. I just wasn't sure if it was a cocktail or an everyday beverage. Turns out it is a cocktail that has mint leaves and lime juice in it. I thought that the name was quite clever and I do enjoy saying "Mojito", it sounds so tropical!
There's nothing special about the packaging. It's just a cyllinder bottle, with an easy to hold lid. I am not inlove with the packaging, but it does the job and hey, this polish was only $2.
The colour of Mojito is what drew me to it. In the bottle I was hoping it would be a pastel green, rather than a turquoise-green colour. I was super disappointed, until I actually tried it on. I love that the colour is so loud and in-your-face.
A downside to this nail polish was the formula. It seemed really thick and gluggy in the bottle but then on the first coat, it was sheer! For the above photo I did have 3 coats on, but some were relatively thick. It also took a while to cover the streakiness of this polish. I waited for the first to be entirely dry, before I went on and did the others.
Overall, I did like this polish. The only thing that could have been better, was the formula. I does turn out a little bit darker than the above picture shows, but nothing too different. I also reccommend using a top coat with Mojito as I found it started to chip almost straight after it dried (be sure to wrap the tips with top coat too).

Review: Revlon Ocean Breeze

Hello guys,
Today I have another review for you, Revlon's Ocean Breeze (320).
First off, I really do think the name suits this nail polish, but I do wish it maybe was a little more creative with it. There is some room for improvement.
There's always been something about Revlon's nail polish packaging that I like. The simplicity of it really makes it seem effortlessly chic. I also really like the lid, it makes painting your nails that much easier and because of something so simple. Needless to say, I love the packaging.
The colour of Ocean Breeze is somewhat a metallic/chrome, blue with some green undertones. What I love most about this polish is, it's scented! With a name like Ocean Breeze of course you would expect it to smell, well like the ocean and as it dries, the smell gets stronger and is pretty realistic. The only bad thing about the scent is, it wares of very quickly, mine wore off completely after 2 days.
Since the colour is so nice I will forgive it.
The formula of this polish is really nice, yet I find it to be very thin and very sheer. It was really easy to work with and wasn't too streaky once you layered it. I found that I would use 4 thin coats of Ocean Breeze just to avoid any V.N.L (Visable Nail Line).
Overall, I really like this polish, despite the sheer application, which was a bit of a pain. The scent was really nice and true to life aswell. The colour payoff was very much what you see, is what you get (even if it is after a few extra coats). I'm not sure of the exact price of this polish as I got it as a gift, but I'v eheard some people say its around 4-5 Australia Dollars.
